Hello and Welcome! We are so glad that you decided to stop in and browse our site. My name is Trish and my husband is Ray...and in case you can't tell when you finish looking us over...WE LOVE DOGS...especially the spectacular breed the Standard Poodle. We are hobby breeders of this lovely breed and have made many people very happy with their new little family members, their new Standard Poodles. We believe in breeding for all the right reasons! We are in no way to ever be considered a PUPPY MILL, a kennel or a broker. We live on 5-1/2 acres deep in the rural area of gorgeous Southeastern Missouri. Our dogs rule our home. They literally live with us and the puppies are born right here in our home. Our dogs are our children. We have several dogs that are spay/neutered and we have our babies that provide us with the beautiful puppies. All of our puppies are raised with extraordinary love and devotion! We provide them with the proper love they need to prosper. They are handled by us personally from day one and it doesn't stop until they leave us for their forever homes. By the time your puppy leaves here, it is well adjusted to people, other animals and household noises. We strive to produce puppies that conform to and meet the AKC standards of the breed. We produce highly intelligent, very easy going puppies with beautiful temperaments. They have luscious coats and lovely eyes. Their tail sets are that of champions! ABOUT OUR DOGGIES...
We now own a vast array of these super dogs! Our array of colors and personalities are like that of a rainbow, which is often said of the poodles' coats. We have excellent dogs that have awesome pedigrees. We have several with AKC championship in their pedigrees and some that actually have several AKC/UKC champions and even AKC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! We also have some that are dual registered with the UKC. The pedigrees and lines of our dogs are that of show dog lines, but at family prices. We love what we do and we do it with our heart and souls, it is our PASSION! We are totally devoted to our dogs. Are dogs are in the process of being health tested. Some have achieved their health testing through the OFA and others are awaiting the proper age to have it done. We test hips, elbows, thyroid and eyes. We do have puppies before our testing however, we are confident through the pedigrees of their linage that they are safe from these genetic disorders. We care for all of our dogs like families do for their children. They are taken to the vet on an annual basis and given all appropriate vaccines and any other tests they need. We strongly believe in the health of our dogs. We are so confident about our puppies that we actually give a TWO YEAR GUARANTEE ON ALL OF OUR PUPPIES against genetic disorders, whether they have had their health testing or not. We know our dogs and we know the lines they come from, very rich, sophisticated, aristocratic poodle lines!

POODLE HISTORY...
A little about Standard Poodle history. Many believe that the poodle is nothing more than a fancy FRUU FRUU DOG! This is so untrue. The exact origin of the poodle is till this day unknown, with most historians suspecting Germany. The hunters of the Middle Ages of the 1500 century used the poodle as a hunting and retrieving dog. This is what they were born to do. They were excellent at retrieving fallen game from the waters, however, due to the long, dense curly coat of the poodle, often times they didn't make it back to shore with their prey because they would drown. The hunters decided to change all of this and till this day the cut they provided for the poodle that served a true working dogs means to survive became known as the INTERNATIONAL SHOW CLIP OF ALL TIMES! This clip is known in the history of the dog world as "The Continental Show Clip". Many men think they wouldn't be caught dead walking a fancy, sissy Standard Poodle, but stay turned and I will tell you how this cut came about.
The hunters decided in order for this animal to make it back to shore and survive the often times freezing waters,they would trim off the unnecessary hair. They started with the poodles' legs. They trimmed away all of the hair except around the ankles...then they decided to trim away all of the hair from the hips except for two poms. After much thought they decided to leave a huge amount of hair surrounding the chest wall of the dog. The pompoms on the hips were left to protect the dogs hip joints, on the ankles to protect the ankle joints and around the chest wall to protect the poodles' vital organs. The poodles were able to successfully dive into the cold murky waters, swim to the prey, catch it up and head back to the shore. So..you see, men, this is a HUNTER'S DOG...every man needs a STANDARD POODLE!
The poodle in the smaller version also played a big roll in entertaining, they were used in the circus to perform tricks, thus they are terrific agility dogs. This is also why to this day there are many champions in the AKC Agility division! There are just so many wonderful qualities about this dog it is no wonder that the STANDARD POODLE REMAINS IN THE TOP SELLING PETS AND NEVER AGES...GOT POODLE? IF NOT, GET POODLE TODAY!!
